MAIN OFFICE RECEPTIONIST

The Cotterman Company & Conveyor Components Company have a fulltime office receptionist position available at the Croswell, MI location. Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Education Required: High School or equivalent.  Full Company Benefits after 90 days probation. General Job duties include:

  1. • Answer main incoming telephone lines; screen and route appropriately; take and deliver messages as necessary.
  2. • Manage incoming and outgoing faxes, record as necessary and deliver or return to the sender.
  3. • Greet people entering lobby, register visitors and announce to appropriate person.
  4. • Process Incoming 1st Class Mail, UPS, Federal Express, etc.
  5. • Maintain Visitor Control Log and issues visitor passes.
  6. • Balance invoices for various credit card accounts and completed credit checks.
  7. • Log in freight invoices.
  8. • Assist in preparing certified collection letters.
  9. • Update Satellite Plant shipping schedule books.
  10. • Acknowledge purchase orders for Cotterman Sales.
  11. • Contact customers for correct addresses of returned mail.
  12. • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor. Educational Reimbursement

DATA ENTRY CLERK

The Cotterman Company and Conveyor Components Co. have a fulltime, non-exempt, hourly data-entry clerical position available at the Croswell, MI location. Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Education Required: High School or equivalent; some college with related administrative coursework a plus. Full Company Benefits after 90 days probationary period.

General Job duties include:

  1. Make order entries into Macola for all Company locations.
  2. Prepares Bill of Ladings.
  3. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Department Manager

Other Qualifications:

  1. Strong computer and clerical skills.
  2. Must be able to learn to work with Company computer software programs.
  3. Must have good math skills and able to maintain accurate documentation.
  4. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work.
  5. Must have the ability to work both independently and with others.
  6. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of business information.
  7. Must be reliable with proven record of excellent attendance.
  8. Must be able to work safely and sit at static work location for extended periods.
  9. Must be able to work in a conductive manner to maintain a positive work environment.
